Damen Shipyards Group consists of 32 operating companies worldwide. The group originates from a single shipyard founded in Holland in 1927 and is active in ship newbuilding and repair as well as marine services. With an annual turnover of approximately 2.1 billion euros, Damen is the largest shipbuilding group in The Netherlands and one of the leading builders of workboats and fast craft worldwide.

Damen focuses on construction of standardised proven designs and ongoing product development, offering our clients advantages such as optimised performances and reliability, short delivery times and low operational costs. Available designs include both commercial and military vessels, ranging from tugs, workboats, dredgers, buoy laying and offshore vessels, to cargo vessels, fast ferries, patrol boats, crew boats and other fast craft.

The Singapore marine and offshore engineering industry is a world-class industry with an international clientele. Singapore is one of the world's premier shiprepair centres and a world leader in the conversion of Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) and Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) units. Custom-designed, Bibby WaveMaster 1 enables offshore wind operators to work more efficiently, more safely and in maximum comfort, for periods of up to 30 days at a time.

- The vessel is built on a stable DP-2 (Dynamic Positioning) platform so it offers very high operability.
- It will provide safe offshore transfers for personnel by way of a motion compensated access system (Walk to Work).
- Equipment will be securely transferred by way of the heave compensated offshore-rated knuckle boom crane.
- A helipad, daughter craft and CTV landings provide additional turbine access.

With technicians on standby in the field 24/7, wind farm operators can act immediately to rectify expensive outages, even in the toughest of weather conditions.

Working efficiency is also one of the key drivers behind the innovative vessel design. The space has been carefully planned in terms of storage, workflow and logistics to ensure that the movement of both people and goods is smartly optimised.

The vessel has been specifically designed to be as 'green' as possible, with minimal emissions and low fuel consumption.

Whilst both safety and efficiency are integral features, comfort is also paramount. The Comfort Class 2 standard accommodation comprises 60 individual ensuite berths, all of which are equipped with TV and Wi-Fi, and are complemented by class-leading leisure facilities.
