About Us
James Fisher Marine Services (JFMS) combines in-house marine expertise, innovation and established commercial best practice to deliver integrated solutions to its customers.

In 2016, James Fisher announced that it would be merging JF Subsea, Hughes SSE, and Mojo Maritime together to form a new, stronger organisation under the banner James Fisher Marine Services (JFMS). This new division has three primary operating divisions, namely:

  • Marine projects
  • Marine services
  • Subsea services

Marine Projects
Formerly Mojo Maritime, the marine project division of James Fisher Marine Services focuses on the effective delivery of large and highly complex marine projects for its customers.

JFMS specialises in project management, engineering and consultancy services for the marine industry. With its experienced team of analysts, engineers, naval architects and master mariners, JFMS has built a successful track record supporting multiple high profile projects in offshore wind, wave and tidal energy.

Marine Services
As part of the James Fisher and Sons plc group, JFMS has over 170 years' experience providing marine services to industries around the world. From marine equipment, personnel, management systems to vessel provision and project management services, JFMS is able to fulfil over 70% of all offshore operations through bespoke integrated service packages.

Subsea Services
With a deep understanding of subsea diving in renewables, civils and ordnance as well as oil and gas projects worldwide, JFMS provides a group-wide subsea solution to better service its customers and streamline operations.

We provide complete operational solutions to environments with difficult access. Be it underwater, working from a height or within a confined space, JFMS has the experienced personnel and the required equipment to provide cost effective solutions within both on and offshore environments.

JFMS is a specialist in providing reliable ROV systems, utilising proven, cutting-edge technology, together with highly experienced, qualified personnel for underwater surveys, inspections, construction and diver support. Its success is founded on a high quality team of personnel with extensive experience in the subsea industry.

In 2016, James Fisher acquired Hughes Sub-Surface Engineering (Hughes SSE), which has subsequently formed part of James Fisher Marine Services' subsea services division, along with Fendercare Marine Diving Services, Osiris Marine Services, Marine and Diving Services, and Subsea Vision to create a single diving and ROV equipment and services entity. This combined experience of 30+ years, provides inshore and offshore diving services to both private companies and public sector clients throughout the world.

The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) is a leading trade association representing the vast majority of contractors and the associated supply chain in the offshore marine construction industry worldwide. We have a membership of over 900 companies including contractors, suppliers, oil & gas companies, marine renewable energy companies ... Moreand numerous non-governmental organisations (NGOs).

IMCA was formed in 1995 through the merger of the former Association of Offshore Diving Contractors (AODC, formed in 1972) and the Dynamically Positioned Vessel Owners Association (DPVOA, formed in 1989). Consequently, our operational roots and technical credentials are second to none in our industry.

Our mission is to improve performance in the marine contracting industry. We achieve this by leveraging the expertise of our members through conferences, seminars and meetings, and in publishing leading standards of technical and operating guidance in key areas of safety, quality, and offshore performance. In addition, we represent our members in dialogue with other industry bodies, regulators, oil companies and renewable energy companies. IMCA holds consultative status at the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) and is very active in international regulatory and policy matters in the upstream industry.
The Association of Diving Contractors (ADC) is the trading name of UK ADC Ltd, the industry body representing diving contractors working Inland/Inshore in the UK and Ireland that constantly seeks to: Actively cultivate and promote the art and science of commercial diving within the context of the activities of its members ... More

Establish uniform safe standards and operating practices

Encourage industry wide observation of such standards and operating practices

Encourage the enactment and enforcement of appropriate laws for the protection and regulation of the business of commercial diving

Do any such other things as considered by the membership or management committee of ADC to be in the interest of this industry sector

ADC represents members working in what is probably the most diverse sector of the various work areas covered by Diving at Work Regulations 1997 and its appropriate Approved Codes of Practice.

With a membership that extends from the very smallest diving contractors working in swimming pools, rivers, lakes and harbours to those working in the outer most reaches of UK coastal waters in depths varying from less than 1m to a maximum of 50m. The sheer range and variety of activities carried out in this sector are almost as wide as some river estuaries where work takes place. The objective of this website is to introduce interested parties to the full scope of activities carried out by the Association."
Achilles — Our business is built on the idea that, in an ever-more-connected world, we're not just responsible for what we do – we're also accountable for what's done on our behalf. And where there's accountability, there's a need for control… When we started out in 1990 operating in the gas and oil industry, we saw that control was something buyers ... Moreneeded more of. So we designed our community model, our supporting services and the technology that powers them to address this need. We wanted to drive a new kind of procurement with less risk, less cost and less compliance issues. At the same time, wanted to bring suppliers into the fold – to help them meet buyers' needs while reducing their own qualification burdens.

Today, with all kinds of stakeholders holding businesses to ever-higher standards, it's even more important for businesses to have a complete picture of their supply chains – not just in terms of their business performance, but their ethical and environmental standards too. Against this backdrop, our drive to develop and refine our offering has only increased.

Now we're working from offices all over the globe, serving a network of over 800 buyers and 175,000 suppliers in all kinds of industries. As such, we're proud to be part of a truly worldwide community dedicated to raising standards and doing business in ways that benefit everyone.
