Multraship Towage & Salvage is a division of the Muller Maritime Group, jointly owned by the Dutch Muller Family and Hamburg based Fairplay Towage.The company's core activities include harbour towage, salvage & wreck removal, ocean towage and support to offshore energy & dredging industries.

The Muller family has been engaged in the shipping industry for more than 230 years, specialising in towage and salvage since 1911. Multraship operates a large, modern fleet of tugs, self propelled floating sheerlegs, diving support vessels and other units. The company's head-office is situated in Terneuzen, The Netherlands. Branch-offices are located in Bulgaria and Romania in order to facilitate towage, salvage and related services in the Black Sea area.

Other participations of the Muller Maritime Group include Verenigde Bootlieden and Montis Mooring - providers of linehandling and boatmen services, Antwerp Towage, JV with Fairplay providing towage services in the river areas of the port of Antwerp, CTOW, JV with DEME and Herbosch-Kiere, providing services for dedicated maritime terminals worldwide, including all port operation activities and Scheldt Maritime Services, dispatcher/maritime service provider.

The FAIRPLAY TOWAGE Group operates own tugboat services in 29 North European ports. Besides the main European container hubs Antwerp, Rotterdam, Wilhelmshaven, Bremerhaven, Hamburg and Gdynia, various ports along the rivers Schelde (Flushing, Terneuzen and Ghent), Weser (Bremen, Brake and Nordenham), Elbe (Stade, Bützfleth, Brunsbuettel and Cuxhaven) and Odra (Szczecin, Police and Swinoujscie) are served by tugs of the FAIRPLAY TOWAGE Group. Along the East German Baltic coast the FAIRPLAY TOWAGE Group has own tugboats stationed in Wismar, Rostock, Stralsund, Mukran, Sassnitz and Wolgast.

"Theodor Buschmann GmbH & Co", a Hamburg-based shipyard, and "Borchard Schiffahrts GmbH" overseeing the Group's real estate activities are part of the FAIRPLAY TOWAGE Group. Furthermore, FAIRPLAY TOWAGE holds a 50% share in the Dutch towage and salvage specialist "Multraship Towage & Salvage" and "Antwerp Towage", respectively.
Antwerp Towage was established in 2008 as a joint-venture between leading towage and salvage service providers Fairplay and Multraship. It provides ship owners and operators with competitive harbour towage services at all river terminals and locks along the River Scheldt in the port of Antwerp, co-ordinating its state-of-the-art operations from a dedicated ... Fairplay Towage was established in Hamburg more than a hundred and ten years ago by Mr. Richard Borchardt. Today it comprises a group of companies mainly engaged in the towage industry with dedicated offices in Hamburg, Rotterdam, Rostock, Swinoujscie, Szczcecin and Gdynia. In addition to harbour towage, it is involved in deep-sea towage, offshore support and salvage works and, via group companies, in shipbuilding and repair as well as real estate management.
