About Us
The Offshore Petroleum Industry Training Organisation (OPITO) is the global, not-for-profit, skills body for the energy industry. More than 250,000 people are trained to our standards every year, across 47 countries through 205 accredited training centres.

With operation centres in four regions  - UK and Europe, Middle East and Africa, Asia Pacific and the Americas – we are driving safety and competency improvements to benefit the industry.

An industry-owned organisation, we also work with governments, national oil companies, operators and contractors, offering a range of services and products to meet international skills needs and support workforce development.
Blackpool and The Fylde College's Fleetwood Offshore Survival Centre (FOSC) offers high-quality, industry-accredited maritime, offshore oil and gas, and renewable courses to ensure your professional development within these growing industries. Falck Safety Services (FSS) offers training at various levels for those people in the front line right up to the highest management levels of a company.
