About the Event

Ocean Business, 9-11 April 2019, National Oceanography Centre (NOC), UK.

Firmly established as one of the most important international events in the ocean technology calendar, Ocean Business 2019 is FREE to attend and is expected to attract more than 5,000+ visitors from over 60 countries.

At the very heart of Ocean Business 2019 is a three-day exhibition of over 360 companies, bringing together the world's leading manufacturers and service providers in the industry. More than just a static exhibition, Ocean Business 2019 provides visitors with an opportunity to test-drive equipment and systems, with over 180 hours of live, free to attend training and demonstration sessions, on vessels, at the dockside, in the test tank and in seminar rooms.

In addition, Ocean Business 2019 offers a selection of associated events from several key organisations in the industry, a two day technical conference and Ocean Careers, a three day event providing advice on career opportunities within the ocean technology, marine science and offshore industries.

EOMAP is the leading global service provider of satellite-derived aquatic information in maritime and inland waters for the commercial offshore industry as well as a multitude of government agencies. Pioneering the field of satellite-derived bathymetry and high resolution water quality monitoring, EOMAP services rely on standardized physical models ... Morewhich are independent of scale, sensor type and geographic location. Additional key services include seafloor, coastal environment and infrastructure mapping.

We understanding that our clients value certainty. We provide high-qualtiy data and advanced analysis to help mitigate risks and inefficiencies and to produce actionable insights for business, government and society.

EOMAP’s technology can be applied at local through to intercontinental scales, with the option of providing continuous and long term environmental information by harnessing multiple satellite resources.

EOMAP was founded in 2006 as a spin-off of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and is headquartered in Castle Seefeld, just outside of Munich.
nke Instrumentation designs, manufactures and sells instruments and systems for water measurements and environmental monitoring. Our fields of application are ocean, deep sea, coastal, rivers and lakes, and our range of products includes data loggers, autonomous buoys, deep floats, sediment sensors, and profilers.... More

nke Instrumentation is involved in several research projects, both nationally and internationally, and works in partnership with scientific institutions such as Ifremer and CNRS.

nke Instrumentation provides:

Autonomous data loggers for the monitoring of parameters (pressure, temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, etc)

Monitoring of the medium (silting, heat flow, atmospheric corrosion, etc)

Behaviour analysis of immersed systems (force, acceleration, slope, corrosion, etc)

Automated systems: monitoring of water areas, estuaries, instrumented buoys, acoustic buoys, and profilers of all kinds

nke Instrumentation has a global network of partners and dealers in Europe (France, Germany, Belgium, Spain, United Kingdom, and Italy), Asia (China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan), Oceania (Australia), North America (USA), and South America (Brazil, Peru, and Uruguay).
SeeByte provides clients in the maritime sector with the most advanced software solutions to enhance the capabilities of their underwater sensors, vehicles and systems. Who We Are Operating from offices in Edinburgh, Scotland, Southampton, England and San Diego, California, SeeByte has achieved a position of leadership in the development of smart software ... Morefor underwater vehicles, sensors and systems in both the Military and Oil & Gas sectors. SeeByte provides products and services to major government and commercial clients around the world. SeeByte is a subsidiary of Battelle. Battelle is a leader in maritime technologies; enabling rapid development and deployment of solutions for government and industry

History
SeeByte first came to be in 2002 in the Oceans Lab at Heriot-Watt University. Since then it has rapidly expanded and become a world leader in smart software solutions with a truly global market presence. In October 2013 SeeByte was acquired by Battelle Memorial Institute.

Military
In the military sector, SeeByte’s SeeTrack software has been chosen by over twenty of the world’s navies to optimise operations involving unmanned underwater vehicles. SeeTrack enables fast and efficient mission-planning, monitoring and post-mission analysis.

Oil & Gas
In the oil & gas sector, SeeByte has developed tools to automate complex subsea tasks. In order to lessen the demands placed upon operators, smart software technology can be used to make operations more efficient and consistent. Through SeeByte’s software capabilities, operators can focus on the job at hand with a higher level of confidence in vehicle control, improving quality and reducing the time and cost of performing a range of subsea tasks.

Innovation
SeeByte is increasingly partnering with leading hardware manufacturers to provide enhanced capabilities for their sensors and systems. These partnerships are changing the subsea industry by providing turn-key robotic solutions, capable of carrying out complex and often risky operations in a safe and more efficient manner.
