Overview
The Port of Esbjerg is the main hub for the Danish offshore industry and is part of "Energy Metropolis Esbjerg". Today, the Port of Esbjerg is Europe's leading port regarding the handling of offshore wind turbines. As a matter of fact, 4 GW out of 5 GW offshore wind turbines installed in Europe have been pre-assembled, tested and shipped from the Port of Esbjerg.

In addition, the Port of Esbjerg is the base port for the Danish oil & gas industry as well as all parts of the industry's value chain, including such activities as consultancy, design, production, installation, air transport, service/maintenance, and rig repair.
