About Us
Subsea Technology & Rentals (STR) specialise in the design and manufacture of advanced subsea technology for the offshore energy industry. STR is also a global leader in the rental of marine equipment to support the offshore survey, IRM, subsea construction and renewable sectors.

With state of the art workshop and calibration facilities, a specialist subsea cable moulding facility and a multi-disciplined engineering team, STR provides a range of fully integrated services with comprehensive 24 hour technical support.

In addition to first class equipment supply, STR can complement their equipment with skilled engineers to attend vessel mobilisations and support worldwide offshore operations. All our offshore personnel are qualified in a relevant engineering discipline and certified for offshore operations.



STR has delivered trusted solutions for seafloor investigation and inspection to the offshore community for over 15 years. STR specialises in the design and manufacture of underwater imaging systems, advanced sonar systems and marine winches. Our core technologies include:
