WindEurope (formerly the European Wind Energy Association - EWEA) is the voice of the wind industry, actively promoting wind power in Europe and worldwide. It has over 450 members, active in over 50 countries, including wind turbine manufacturers with a leading share of the world wind power market, plus component suppliers, research institutes, national ... WindEurope coordinates international policy, communications, research and analysis and provides various services to support members'​ requirements and needs to help their development, offering the best networking and learning opportunities in the sector.

WindEurope analyses, formulates and establishes policy positions for the wind industry on key strategic sectoral issues, cooperating with industry and research institutions on a number of market development and technology research projects. In addition, the lobbying activities undertaken by WindEurope help create a suitable legal framework within which members can successfully develop their businesses.

In 2018, RenewableUK presents the association's 17th annual offshore wind energy conference and exhibition. Taking place over two days, 19-20 June in Manchester, RenewableUK welcomes the global industry to the heart of the UK – all in one place at one time.
This September the Global Wind Summit in Hamburg is the biggest and most important meeting of the wind industry worldwide. It combines the world’s leading expo for wind energy - WindEnergy Hamburg and the global conference of WindEurope to create a high-powered, unique platform for business, networking and information - onshore and offshore. These ... Exhibitors, visitors and conference participants are expected from some 100 countries. In nine exhibition halls more than 1,400 exhibitors will be present and some 35,000 trade visitors are expected. The WindEurope Conference, to be held inside the exhibition, features more than 500 speakers and presenters, providing a first-class programme on the issues facing the global wind industry for round about 2,000 delegates.
