iXblue is an established international technology company with a professional staff of over 500 and operations in more than 30 countries.  The company is renowned for its pioneering work on the development of ultimate performance fiber-optic gyroscopes (FOG), acoustic and sonar signal processing, and inertial-acoustic sensor data fusion. iXblue's offerings encompass inertial navigation systems, photonic components and modules, acoustic positioning and sonar solutions, imaging systems, motion simulators, and stabilized platforms.

The iXblue group originated in 2000, a corporate entity that emerged from the sell off of Photonetics. Photonetics was founded in 1978 and built a world leading team in the application of optical technologies to both telecommunication systems and optical gyroscopes.
